FAQ
We have an answer for you!
Do you service out-of-area?
We will service your pool and/Marquis Spa or spa out-of-area; however, there is a charge for drive time and mileage.
Do you build pools?
No. However, we do install above ground pools and will service and maintain current pools. We also rehabilitate most in ground pools with new liners, covers, heaters, pumps, pool room equipment, etc., and we service and maintain them as well.
Anything that would require a licensed contractor, plumber, or electrician cannot be performed by Leisure at this time, but we are happy to provide the names of companies and individuals we have had success working with in the past!
What Holidays are you closed?
July 4th, Memorial day, Labor day, Christmas (we also close early on Christmas eve), Thanksgiving (we are open on Black Friday), New Year’s Day, and Easter.
Does LEISURE take care of the electrical for my new spa?
We are not licensed electricians, so you wouldn’t want us to handle all of the electrical… We need an electrician to set up a GFCI box and conduit so that we can properly wire your tub. Head here for more guidance.
How much chemical am I going to use?
Chemical usage is completely dependent on the usage of your pool or spa. There is no specific chart to guide you, so if you have any trouble, don’t be afraid to ask us for assistance. All pools and spas will stay cleaner and easier to maintain if your water is properly balanced.
Do you carry parts?
We do keep a large amount of parts in our store. Check our parts page to see which vendors we work with often. We are also an Aquatech member, so we have a large plethora of other parts at our disposal.
Do you work on other spa brands?
Marquis Spas is our primary brand. We have the knowledge and support to ensure proper service and maintenance. There a few exceptions, however. Give us a call! We will try to help you figure it out.
My spa control panel is flashing a “FLO” error?
This is usually an indication that your filter is getting clogged. Shut the spa off, pull the filter out and rinse and clean it really well. Put the filter back in and turn the spa back on. If the “FLO” error is gone, then that was the issue. If not, you may need to purchase some filter cleaner from us or get a new filter.
My sand-filter pressure gauge is getting too high.
Try backwashing your sand-filter. You may also want to run some backwash filter cleaner just to get it super clean. If the pressure doesn’t go down, you will want to consider a sand change. Give us a call. We can walk you through the next steps.
My spa control panel is flashing a “blb” error. What should I do?
*This is not an emergency* This just means that your UV bulb has reached its recommended useful life of 365 days and it is time to change it. Give us a call or come into the shop to schedule us to do it!
My spa control panel is displaying “ - - - - “ and nothing is working.
This usually happens after a power outage. Turn your spa off at the breaker and turn it back on. This will usually solve the problem. If not, give us a call.
My pool is cloudy. What do I do?
Check your chemical levels. Sometimes your balancing chemicals (PH, Alkalinity, calcium) can get a little askew. Check to see if they are too high or low. Next, check and see how old the sand in your sand-filter is. If it’s less than two years old, you should backwash your filter. If it’s more than two years old, you will want to consider having a sand change, but we can take care of that. Lastly, bring a water sample in to us. We can give you exact numbers and guidance on what to do.
